For those that don't know, I have been a Glambassador for Glamour Magazine for 4 years. This is my 4th year representing as their Fashion & Beauty 'Glammy'. Glambassador is an ambassador for Glamour magazine promoting a variety of products. Pretty much a sweet gig, right? We frankly test out their products and send them feedback (Good or Bad).
Our second Challenge of this year is testing out FAT Hair Leave-In Conditioner and Hair Spray.
To get a back story:
I have been growing out my perm for a year and 4 months now. My sister is calling it 'My natural phase'. Growing out my hair and trying new products to tame the frizz and kinks, is very frustrating at times. Not all products are made for ethnic hair. My favorite when washing my hair is the Hydrating Macadamia Oil Shampoo and the Moroccan Oil Conditioner. So far, those two are doing wonders for my hair. Having tested out and dislike so many hair products for strengthening and growth (Such a big money grab!) I like to stick to the basics and not experiment as much. BUT I am trying to be more open when it comes to my hair. This natural phase is quite the journey!
Onward:
I received the two samples from Glamour to test out. FAT Hair Leave-in Conditioner and the Hair Spray.
Week 1: Tried only the leave-in conditioner. So far, not bad. The smell is delicious. It has a light smell and is best to use when the hair is dry. I was waiting to see if the product will dry out my hair even more---it did after a few minutes, but after blow drying my hair, it turned out better than I thought.
Currently in Week 2: For best results, I noticed the product provides maximum results when using the leave-in conditioner, then blow drying and styling the hair with the hair spray! They were right. (This is even written on the bottle--which turned out true. FYI: most products say, but don't mean it.)
Again, will see what this takes us (Hair & I). So far, I am giving these two a chance. I currently use both for styling the hair as of now.
Product Rating: I will give it a 7.5/10! Not bad.

** FYI: I have been given the product samples for free in exchange for feedback (As part of the Glambassador Program for Glamour Magazine). This is not a sponsored post. I did not receive any compensation for this review. **
