Fashion GPS & NOWFASHION Announce Partnership for February 2015

New York, NY (January 21, 2015) Furthering it's commitment to delivering innovative, digital solutions to streamline the day-to-day activities of the global fashion industry, Fashion GPS has partnered with NOWFASHION.com, the first and leading online magazine to present fashion photos in real time, to help designers & brands give press & buyers access to runway images even quicker. Come this February, the two will team up to offer brands, designers and their PR agencies access to published images almost instantly after their show. No longer will clients need to wait days to get images back from their house photographers to share with the press. This new partnership will make images accessible shortly following the show, with functionality to download and share images for maximized post-event press coverage.

"In today's fast paced media landscape brands have found it increasingly challenging to meet the time demands of editors who need file stories within hours of their shows," said Eddie Mullon, Founder & CEO of Fashion GPS. "Now, via our partnership with NOWFASHION, we can give our clients exactly what they need, within minutes and in an easy to manage private portal."

Through this partnership, existing Fashion GPS clients and future potential clients will be able to opt-in to access high-resolution images directly from their show through a dedicated site for their brand or agency. Additionally, they will have the capabilities to create customized galleries for niche story pitching, functionality to send out private links to select press to view all images or even enable on social sharing to make these images ready for blog postings and more.

Lilly Pulitzer for Target

Starring a modern interpretation of the American resort wear brand’s exuberant prints and patterns, the limited-edition collection features 15 exclusive prints, which are original works of art, created by Lilly Pulitzer artists specifically for this modern collaboration. Available exclusively at all Target stores in the U.S. and Canada and on Target.com beginning April 19, the 250-piece collection includes apparel, accessories and shoes for women and girls, as well as home accents, outdoor entertaining accessories, beach gear, travel essentials and more.

“This spring, we wanted to offer our guests a collection that embraced color, print and pattern in a bold, fresh way,” said Stacia Andersen, senior vice president, apparel and accessories, Target. “As we started to think about the perfect partner to collaborate with, Lilly Pulitzer was the clear choice given the brand’s inspiring heritage, authority with print and pattern and resort-chic aesthetic.”

Founded in 1959 by Lilly (McKim) Pulitzer — a stylish Palm Beach hostess and socialite whose husband Peter Pulitzer owned several citrus groves — the brand has an ingenious origin. Lilly would turn her husband’s fresh oranges into juice, which she sold at a juice stand off posh Worth Avenue. She wasn’t a stranger to hard work, but Lilly never wanted to look anything but fashionable, so she created kicky printed shift dresses to wear while working at the stand because the patterns camouflaged the juice spills beautifully. Catching the eye of more than one passerby, including the likes of Jackie Kennedy, Lilly started selling her dresses at her juice stand, and American resort wear was born. Since then, Lilly Pulitzer has evolved into a brand that stands for boldness, individuality and optimism — every day’s a beach day when you’re wearing Lilly!

“Target is a design leader known for offering an unparalleled assortment of stylish, affordable products,” said Jane Schoenborn, vice president, creative communications, Lilly Pulitzer. “The Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection marks a new chapter for our brand, and we’re excited to give Lilly fans everywhere, including those who have loved the brand for years and those who will get to know it for the first time through this collaboration, a chance to experience this incredibly chic lifestyle collection.”

The late Lilly Pulitzer is famous for having said, “style isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about how you live,” and the new Target collection certainly embraces that sentiment.

ABOUT SWIFTY’S RESTAURANT:
Swifty’s has been a favorite Upper East Side haunt for over 15 years, despite an ever-changing dining scene. A sophisticated yet low-key restaurant, Swifty’s attracts a devoted clientele. Chef Attoe and co-owner Robert Caravaggi, former chef and maître d' respectively of legendary Upper East Side boîte, Mortimer’s, combine classic and straight-forward, American and European cuisine with friendly and impeccable service. The ambient dining room, reminiscent of a well-appointed English country house, was created by famed decorators Mario Buatta and Anne Eisenhower.

ABOUT BARRY SEIDMAN:

After years of being the invisible American influence behind companies such as Pernod Ricard, Coca-Cola and Nabisco, Barry Seidman has turned his creative lens towards fine art photography. Seidman exhibits his fine art photography in numerous, one-man, fine art shows in New York City and South Florida and is collected internationally. His Feast for the Eyes photographic series, which was recently debuted at the Gallery at Fotocare in Chelsea dazzled photography enthusiasts as well as food world luminaries. The series was inspired by the fresh fruits and vegetables he found visiting local greenmarkets where he studied the voluptuous shapes, pure colors and beautiful textures of the produce.
