- After making my rounds, chatting with familiar faces, taking pictures and introducing myself to the team of RTR D.C., I briefly chatted with Damion West, assistant manager of the new RTR store, told me the reason "D.C. was chosen as the fourth location of the popular fashion franchise (In 2012 RTR received a 20 million investment from Conde Nast's parent company, Advance Publications.) because of Washingtonians ever-evolving fashion taste. That D.C. women have great style and due to the many clienteles from this city that is not afraid of going outside the box."
Damion also revealed that their Georgetown store is RTR biggest store yet! Wowza! Washingtonians no longer have to go online and rent a dress anymore on RTR. You can now visit their D.C. store to try on the dresses and make same day appointments!
If you're planning on going out on the town and need a dress, come visit Rent the Runway Georgetown store on 3336 M Street NW. To book an appointment, click here.
