Last week, I attended Embassy Row Hotel's rooftop launch party in Dupont Circle. 155 guests including members and press were invited to the launch party to celebrate new renovations & remodeling of the destination hotel's relax kickback venue: the rooftop. I enjoyed the scenery while sampling drinks from the OneHope Wine sangria bar and Chronic Tonic, the gin and tonic bar.
Food provided by chefs who dished out crab cakes, sausages and hamburgers for the sun-kissed guests. The best oysters I've ever tasted was courtesy of Oysters XO. Dessert was later passed around to us & we enjoyed the cake pops and velvet cheesecake in miniature cups.
The rooftop is now open M-Sun from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM! For more info, visit EmbassyRowHotel.com
In honor of today's conclusion of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C; I am posting a Photos Recap of the kickoff launch Pink Tie Party.
First time attending and had so much fun. I was really impressed with the bucket loads of food. Yes, FOOD! There was so much food. So delicious and we guests, kept coming back-rightfully so for more.
The festive party had many games set up for the first half of the event. Including Blossom Buzz, Bud Burst sponsored by Macy's, Petal Pitch sponsored by Kirin Brewery-which I couldn't stop playing, and the Spring Fling sponsored by Macy's.
I saw guests also making their way inside the Atrium playing the Penny Pitch bar game. Guests can also try their luck in putt-putt on the Microsoft Lawn.
The event showcased the Collection at Chevy Chase featuring the latest spring fashions and remarks by Jan Jeffcoat, WUSA 9 weeknight Anchor & Diana Mayhew, National Cherry Blossom Festival president.
The highlight of the night? A special performance by the Rhythm 6 band sponsored by Bubbles Salons. The band covered mega tracks like Happy by Pharrell Williams to get the party guests on their feet.
